Greener Food is a non-profit consultation group driven by a shared passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on our planet. Our mission is to empower establishments and businesses to make sustainable choices and embrace greener practices. We believe that by working together, we can create a more sustainable future for all.

Our team of dedicated experts combines deep knowledge of the food industry with expertise in sustainability practices. We understand the challenges faced by establishments in adopting greener initiatives and strive to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to their unique needs.

One of our key areas of focus is conducting sustainability audits. We assess the environmental impacts, identify areas for improvement, and develop customized strategies to minimize their carbon footprint. We help businesses make informed decisions that align with their values and contribute to a greener food ecosystem.

We are strong advocates for promoting plant based options. By encouraging establishments to prioritize plant based ingredients, we reduce carbon emissions associated with food production by using the latest research and data. Through our guidance, businesses and establishments make it easier on their customers and communities to make sustainable choices all while preserving taste and saving food costs.

At Greener Food, we recognize the growing demand for plant-based options and the significant impact it has on sustainability. Meet the Team

  • Seb Alex

    FOUNDER

    Born and raised in Lebanon, Seb has a MA in Sustainable Architecture and has worked in the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) followed by a corporate job in architecture. Today, he lectures on food systems and sustainability in universities and schools around the world including Harvard, McGill, McMaster University and many others.

  • Carly Dubery

    CORPORATE OUTREACH SPECIALIST

    A UK-born entrepreneur who has called Dubai home for the past 11 years, with a mission to promote veganism as a lifestyle for all, Carly supports conscious consumers and cultivates vegan choices through her platform, including the NJFV market—the UAE's first plant-based market. By nurturing partnerships with like-minded businesses and venues, she expands the reach of healthy plant-based offerings, encouraging individuals to explore the diverse world of vegan food and products.

  • Norah Aldosary

    DIETARY GUIDELINES INITIATIVE

    After finishing her Master's Degree in Public health from the University of Melbourne and obtaining her professional qualification as a Public health Specialist from the Saudi Commission of Health Specialties, Norah started working full time as a healthcare consultant. Norah gained experience in healthcare strategy and advisory at a multinational firm working with government entities. She founded a health education initiative in Saudi Arabia to raise awareness about sustainable food choices for individuals and businesses and helped the Saudi health food market grow.

  • Dr. Arti Rampaul

    DIETARY GUIDELINES INITIATIVE

    Dr. Arti is a Family Medicine Consultant who has been practicing in Dubai for the past 9 years, after moving from the UK, where she trained as a General Practitioner. During her time in Dubai, she earned a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine and a Master's in Diabetes. Her research during her Master’s focused on the impact of diet and lifestyle on metabolic diseases. Dr. Arti incorporates Lifestyle Medicine into her patient consultations, including the use of plant-based diets—a lifestyle she has personally followed for the past eight years. Recently, she also took on a new role with a private company to establish a Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine Department as part of a Wellbeing service for corporate clients.

  • Leah Mansour

    CORPORATE OUTREACH SPECIALIST

    Vegan since 2018 after being raised vegetarian, plant-based chef Leah has a BBA in Strategic Design and Management as well as a diploma in Plant-Based Culinary Arts. Shortly after graduating, she worked as a business management consultant for a local firm for three years. During that time, she discovered her passion for cuisine which is when she decided to attend culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in London. After graduating, she went straight to work as a chef at a vegan restaurant in London.

    She now dedicates her time to building her own brand, “Plant-Based Cat”, where she shares vegan recipes and embarks on ventures centered around plant-based cuisine. She aims to share the infinite potential of plant-based cuisine in hopes to inspire people to lead a plant-based lifestyle.

    CHEF AND CULINARY CONSULTANT

    With over a decade of experience in the kitchen, Kiki Alvarez stands out as a pioneer in culinary innovation and health, seamlessly blending holistic wellness with gourmet flair. Her Venezuelan roots and notable work in Dubai have reshaped the plant-based culinary landscape. Collaborating with Dubai's top plant-based brands, Kiki's entrepreneurial spirit also shines through her own catering and menu development venture. Her culinary creations are a testament to her passion and dedication to revolutionizing healthy eating and the plant-based scene.
